Tarleton Athletics’ 33rd Annual Perry Elliott Plowboy Shootout, presented by First Financial Bank, hosts golfers Friday

WILLOW PARK, Texas - For the 33rd straight year, the Tarleton Athletics Perry Elliott Plowboy Shootout, presented by First Financial Bank, had a strong turnout. Golfers flooded Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas, on Friday to benefit one of Tarleton State's largest fundraising events.
"When I heard this is the 33rd annual event, I knew it had to be a special event," Vice President and Director of Athletics Steve Uryasz said. "It was an honor to be part of the storied Plowboy Shootout, and I hope everyone had a great time on the course. Thank you everyone who participated in this event to support Tarleton Athletics, and thank you to everyone who helped put it together."
There were morning and afternoon flights once again at this year's Plowboy Shootout, split between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. shotgun tee times. The teams competed in a scramble and had the chance to win prizes for 'Longest Drive', 'Closest to the Pin', and a hole-in-one shot.
The top three teams were awarded prizes for their victory.
