Memorial service information for Milan Jones

Dear students, faculty and staff,

As our community continues to grieve the tragic loss of Milan Jones, I write to provide an update on her funeral arrangements.

Memorial services for Milan are scheduled early next week here in Philadelphia, her hometown. A viewing is scheduled on Monday, July 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Johnson Funeral Home, 6653 Chew Ave. A viewing will also be held at 9 a.m., followed immediately by a Catholic Mass at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at St. Helena Church, 6161 N. 5th St.

In the days since her death, I have heard countless stories of Milan's warmth and kindness. I encourage all members of the Temple community to honor Milan's memory by coming together to support one another during this time of heartbreak and grief.
