  • Joe Crowley
    Senior Policy Director and Former Chairman of the Democratic Caucus

    Congressman Crowley represented New York's 14th district for 20 years, serving in House Democratic leadership and on the Ways and Means Committee. He championed Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act, and supported tax cuts for the middle class. He also co-founded multiple caucuses, including on India, Ireland, and rare diseases.
  • Jeff Denham
    Senior Policy Director and Former Member of the US House of Representatives

    Congressman Denham, a former US Representative (2010-2018) for California's 10th and 19th districts, served on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, chairing subcommittees on Railroads and Economic Development. He also served on the Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Veterans' Affairs Committees. Prior to Congress, he was a California State Senator (2001-2009).
  • Michael Nutter
    Senior Advisor and Former Mayor of Philadelphia

    After nearly 15 years on the Philadelphia City Council, Michael served as the city's 98th mayor from 2008 to 2016. He now focuses on helping local governments achieve their economic development, financing, and infrastructure goals.
  • Stephen S. Lawson
    Principal

    Stephen has extensive political experience, having advised a number of candidates and elected officials, such as Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in Florida, as well as U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones, Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, Congressman Mike Collins, and most recently Speaker of the House Jon Burns in Georgia.
  • Patricia Murphy
    Political Columnist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

    Patricia Murphy joined the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's politics team in 2020 from CQ-Roll Call, where she was a political columnist. Previously, she was Capitol Hill Bureau Chief for Politics Daily, a columnist for Newsweek/Daily Beast, and contributed to Garden & Gun and the Washington Post. An Atlanta native, Patricia graduated from The Westminster Schools and Vanderbilt University and holds a master's in journalism from Columbia University.

    Global Chair, Public Policy and Regulation

    Eric is a renowned political counselor and is widely recognized as a leading public policy thought leader. He served in three US presidential administrations and as a senior advisor to a US senator and governor. Eric was chief of staff to Governor Sonny Perdue and advised the late Senator Paul Coverdell (R-GA).
