MONO COUNTY, Calif. (DECEMBER 9, 2024) - Mono County invites residents and stakeholders to provide feedback on the 2025 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). This comprehensive plan outlines the County's short and mid-range strategies for developing, maintaining, and improving essential infrastructure.
The CIP is a vital tool for guiding the County's future growth and ensuring the well-being of its residents and visitors. It encompasses a wide range of projects, including:

Road and Transportation Improvements: Expanding and upgrading roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks to enhance mobility and safety.

Water and Sewer Infrastructure: Maintaining and expanding water and sewer systems to support sustainable growth.

Park and Recreation Facilities: Developing and improving parks, trails, and recreational facilities for community enjoyment.

Public Safety Facilities: Modernizing and expanding public safety facilities to enhance emergency response capabilities.

Other Essential Infrastructure: Investing in essential infrastructure, such as bridges, airports, and government buildings.

In-Person: Attend the Board of Supervisors meeting and or Planning Commission meeting when the plan will be presented. The CIP is presently planned to be presented to the Mono County Planning Commission on Jan. 16, 2025 and is presently planned to be presented as a consent item to the Board of Supervisors on Feb. 4, 2025.
