Get COVID Test Kits from HHS, HUD

New this COVID, flu and RSV season, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) now provides free Covid test kits to providers of home health and hospice, adding to a program begun last year serving nursing homes and assisted living. The program starts now and runs into 2025. More details-and instructions kit acquisition for providers serving older adults in federally assisted housing-below.

Nursing homes, assisted living, home health, and hospice providers: Request to be added to weekly distributions by emailing [email protected] and providing their shipping information. Any requests to increase, decrease, pause, or re-initiate shipping should also be sent to [email protected]. HHS states that requests are usually processed within a couple of weeks of being received.
