Financial Data Transparency Act Joint Data Standards (Joint Trades)

SIFMA, SIFMA AMG, Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), American Investment Council (AIC), Bank Policy Institute (BPI), Financial Services Forum (FSF), Americas Focus Committee Of The Association Of Global Custodians, Investment Company Institute (ICI), ISLA Americas, Loan Syndications And Trading Association (LSTA), and Managed Funds Association (MFA) submitted comments to Federal Reserve System, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Housing Finance Agency, Department of Treasury (DOT), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the nine financial regulators' proposal to implement the requirements of the first stage of the Financial Data Transparency Act. Given the vast potential implications of the proposed rulemaking, the Associations respectfully request a 60-day extension of the comment period in order to more fully engage with their respective members on the Proposal.
