Crisis Care Chaplaincy to Host Bismarck Area Faith and Blue Event

This year will be the 5th year for a Bismarck Area Faith and Blue event.

Faith and Blue is a worldwide event that is celebrated the second weekend in October each year.

Faith & Blue was launched to facilitate safer, stronger, more just and unified communities by directly enabling local partnerships among law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses and community groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations.

At the heart of this initiative is the reinforcement of connections between law enforcement professionals and the communities they serve through the reach of the Faith Based Community.

Communities are stronger and safer when residents and law enforcement professionals can relate as ordinary people with shared values, hopes, and dreams.

This year the Crisis Care Chaplaincy and local Law Enforcement agencies are partnering with Saint Mary's Catholic High School for a Pre Game Tailgate Party on October 11 at the Dan Smrekar Field, beginning at 5:30 PM and going until the start of the game.

There will be free food (provided by BNC National Bank), Police Cars, and Law Enforcement officers that you can visit with.

There are also three church events on Sunday, October 13.

Heritage Church, New Song Church and Capital Christian Center all in Bismarck.

The Crisis Care Chaplaincy has been providing volunteer chaplains for first responders since 1979. We currently serve 12 agencies in the greater Bis/Man area.
