Tallahassee State College Joins Florida Department of Education’s XploreFLED Initiative

Tallahassee State College (TSC) is proud to join the Florida Department of Education's XploreFLEd initiative. Alongside other leading institutions in the Florida College System, TSC is offering select online programs to out-of-state students, furthering Florida's mission to become the national leader in workforce education by 2030.

"With the launch of this initiative, Florida is extending an invitation to students nationwide to experience our first-class, outcome-driven education system. Our goal is clear - by 2030, Florida will be the national leader in workforce education, focused on practical skills and career readiness, free from unnecessary distractions that don't belong in the classroom," said Manny Diaz, Jr., Commissioner of Education. "We are excited to welcome out-of-state students to utilize XploreFLEd."

"Now, students from across the nation can easily enroll in our state's top-ranked Florida College System institutions and get the practical skills and knowledge they need for long-term career success," said Jim Murdaugh, President of TSC. "This is a win-win for the students who choose to come here and for TSC."

With XploreFLEd, TSC provides students access to a wide range of online degree programs at a special tuition rate of just $290 per credit hour for out-of-state students. TSC's program offerings include Accounting Technology (A.S.), Business Administration (B.A.S.), Business Management (A.S.), Cybersecurity (A.S.), Cybersecurity Operations (A.S.), Computer Programming and Web Design (A.S.), Criminal Justice Technology (A.S.), Medical Office Administration (A.S.), Nursing (B.S.), and Supply Chain Management (A.S.).
