Mayor Kevin Coleman Invites You to Blues, Brews, and Barbecue

Mark your calendars for the City of Westland's Annual Blues, Brews, and Barbecue Festival! This event includes live music, authentic barbecue, and delicious brews. The fun takes place from 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday, August 2 and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 3.

Hosted at Thomas H. Brown Central City Park (1901 N. Carlson) Blues, Brews & Barbecue will host a range of talented musicians. Headliners include Eric Gales and Selwyn Birchwood. Other entertainers featured are Lath Al Saadi, Herb the Artist, Sky Covington ft. Club Crescendo, Eliza Neals, Drey Sknow and The kLouds Band, Big Timmy and the Heavy Chevys, Gabriel Brass Band, The Paxton/Spangler Band, and Further Adventures of Fatboy & Jive Turkey. At 10:45 p.m. on Friday, August 2 there will be a drone show to cap the night. On Saturday, August 3 attendees will get the opportunity to watch a captivating fireworks show at 10:30 p.m. This event is jointly hosted by The City of Westland, the Westland Downtown Development Authority, and Jonathan Witz & Associates.
