San Francisco Elections: Extension of Candidate Nomination Period for Board of Education Member, Community College Board, and BART Districts 7 and 9.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, August 9, 2024 - The San Francisco Department of Elections must extend the candidate nomination period for the Board of Education, Community College Board of Trustees, and BART Board of Directors for Districts 7 and 9 since incumbents did not file nomination documents for these offices for the November 5, 2024, election.

Non-incumbent candidates may obtain and file nomination documents, signatures, and fees with the Department of Elections by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, to appear on the ballot.

Visit the Department's website at sfelections.gov to view lists of candidates who filed for local offices, and for more information regarding the November 5, 2024, election.
