Deadline Extended to Run for Board of Education Trustee Area 5!

The City Clerk's office has extended the candidate nomination period for the Office of San Rafael City Schools Board of Education Trustee Area 5 seat until Wednesday, August 14 because Marina Palma has opted to not run for re-election.

To be eligible run for office for this extended seat, a candidate must live in Trustee Area 5 and be a registered voter in that Trustee Area. There is no filing fee, however, if candidates choose to prepare a Candidate's Statement of Qualifications, there is a fee to cover the cost of printing in the voter guide ($225 in English and $450 for English and Spanish).
