Arson Unit seeking witnesses to Hazeldean Road commercial fire

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit is investigating an arson that occurred in a commercial building in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road early this morning.

At approximately 3:45 am, officers attended a commercial fire in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road, this was a tiered response with Ottawa Fire Services.

The incident has displaced many businesses, and the damage caused by the fire is estimated in the millions of dollars.

Police are looking for anyone with dash camera or video surveillance footage of suspicious activity in the area of Castlefrank Road and Hazeldean Road between 1:30 am and 3:30am on September 17^th.
