Greenberg Traurig’s Nikki E. Dobay to Speak at 2024 NCSL Fiscal Institute Symposium

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nov. 11, 2024 - Greenberg Traurig, LLPTax Practice Shareholder Nikki E. Dobay will speak at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) State and Local Tax Task Force's Fiscal Institute Symposium Nov. 15.

Dobay will participate on a panel titled "Federal Tax Changes are Coming: What States Need to Know." The panel will discuss various federal provisions set to expire at the end of 2025 as well other potential federal tax changes that may be considered in 2025, state tax conformity issues, and the potential impacts these federal changes may have on the states.

Dobay is nationally known for her deep experience and understanding of state tax policy and the legislative process. She also advises her clients on sophisticated multistate tax issues as well as the consequences and planning opportunities related to corporate mergers and acquisitions transactions, and oversees state and local tax controversy matters, ranging from audits to appellate litigation, and involving sales and use taxes, income and franchise taxes, property taxes, and constitutional issues.
