DOE PAGES® Record Page Redesign

Following the user-focused redesign of OSTI.GOV record pages, DOE OSTI has implemented a similar redesign for records in DOE PAGES. DOE PAGES is the designated DOE public access repository and search tool making scholarly publications resulting from DOE funding publicly available. Individual record pages now offer a reorganized, streamlined view of information describing journal articles and accepted manuscripts. This update includes more centralized metadata and aids in navigation and discovery.

With the new record page design, essential metadata, including title, authors, DOI, journal information, and publication date, appear prominently at the top of the page for easy access.

Information about accessing the journal articles, including full-text download buttons and availability dates, is visible directly below the record abstract. At the right-center of the page, users will find Cite, Export, Share, and Save drop-down menus, along with the Print icon.

The record pages continue to include reference lists, cited-by information, linked research, related figures and tables, similar records, and subject categories, but in a new format to make the information easier to access and explore. The record page updates also contribute to increased discoverability through commercial search engines such as Google and Bing.
