Crain's New York Business Names David Pinsky Notable Leader in Law

WASHINGTON-Covington International Arbitration partner and Management Committee member David Pinsky was named to Crain's 2024 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law, a recognition of the top accountants, consultants, and lawyers in New York.

David represents clients in investor-state and commercial arbitrations, including in connection with clients' exits from Russia following the Kremlin's 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine. His recent work includes winning a $5-billion award for Ukraine's state-owned oil and gas company, Naftogaz, in an investment arbitration against Russia, in response to Russia's unlawful expropriation of Naftogaz's assets upon annexing the Crimean Peninsula in 2014.
