HACU's 38th Annual Conference to feature workshops on preparing the future workforce

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 38th Annual Conference will feature topics on "Preparing the Future Workforce," under track seven.

More than 50 workshops that address the theme, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Reaching New Heights of Excellence and Equity," will be offered in seven tracks. The Conference will be held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Nov. 1-3, 2024, in conjunction with pre-conference events.

The following are the workshop topics to be presented under Track Seven - Preparing the Future Workforce:

  • The Building Hispanic Talent Initiative®: Transformative Student Experiences Through Equity Driven Summer Bridge Programs
  • Why HACU-members Should be Interested in Creating the Future Nursing Workforce
  • Future-Proofing Careers: The CLR's Impact on Education and Employability
  • Employability: Empowering Students with Industry-Aligned Micro-Credentials in the Age of AI and Gen AI
  • UNO's Learn and Earn: Paving the Way to Tech Careers
