Wildfire Threat Continues...

As the Park Fire rages out of control in Northern California, it is a reminder that the wildfire risk is still present with us every day. Please stay vigilant in keeping ignition sources out of our communities and our public lands during the wildfire season. Although temperatures are slated to decrease slightly in the coming days, strong winds associated with changing weather patterns and afternoons thunderstorms can quickly push small ignitions to wildfires beyond control. Fire restrictions are in effect and limit the use of any ember producing flame to paid campgrounds with designated campfire rings and 24-hour observation. Residential backyard burning and campfires outside of these designated areas are strictly prohibited. Please help keep us safe by adhering to these restrictions.
