November 12, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1500 Antoine Drive about 2:05 p.m. on Sunday (November 10).

The deceased male is identified as Wilber Fuentes Canales, 33.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant V. Vo and Officer D. Ortega reported:

Fuentes Canales was driving a black Honda Civic northbound near the above address when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree in the center median. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.

It is believed alcohol was a factor in this crash.

The investigation is continuing.
