Logging into Wi-Fi network Eduroam changes soon

07 October 2024News item

From Tuesday 8 October, it will be possible to log into Wi-Fi network Eduroam with your new Radboud account ([email protected]). Later this year, logging in with your new Radboud account will be mandatory.

Currently, you log in with a U, S or E number. Logging in with your new Radboud account will become mandatory. From then on, it will no longer be possible to log in with a USE-number. It is therefore recommended to adjust the Wi-Fi settings of your various devices (phone, laptop, tablet, smartwatch, etc.) and use the new account sometime in the next few weeks. This will prevent automatic disconnection when your current USE-account can no longer connect to Eduroam. The date when you will be required to log in with your new account will still be announced. If you already log in with your new account before, you will not have to log in again on the day everything is converted.
