Ithaca Troopers respond to serious crash

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 6:54 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca responded to a serious crash with injures on North Lounsberry Road in Brooktondale.

An investigation at the scene revealed that Marissa A. McKown, age 44 of Ithaca was on a scooter traveling northeast when for an unknown reason, went off the roadway and struck a ditch.

McKown was transported in serious condition to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital by helicopter.
