Burger joins Nationwide Board of Directors

Columbus, OH - Nationwide has announced the election of Corrine Burger to the company's Board of Directors.

Burger was recently welcomed to the board by Nationwide Board Chairman Jeff Zellers.

"Corrine brings a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable to Nationwide as the company pursues its long-term goals as one of the largest insurance and financial services companies based in the U.S.," said Zellers.

"Corrine is known for her deep knowledge and professionalism," said Nationwide CEO Kirt Walker. "We are excited about the future of Nationwide with Corrine at the table helping us position Nationwide for great things far beyond our centennial celebration coming up in 2026."

Throughout her more than 30-year career in banking, Burger has held several operational and leadership roles, showcasing her expertise in financial reporting, analytics and governance.

Currently, Burger serves as a managing director at JPMorganChase. She is also a trustee for Columbus State Community College; serves as a board member of both Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Columbus Regional Airport Authority and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Columbus Partnership.

During her tenure at Chase, Burger has held key positions, including several line of business controller roles and currently serves as the firmwide lead for JPMorganChase's Control Management function.

Burger is a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing) and holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
