Radhika Gogoi, M.D., Ph.D., gynecologic oncologist and member of the Gynecologic Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos Cancer Institute, recently joined an HCP Roundtable to discuss how disparities in access to health care can impact patient treatments and outcomes. The roundtable's topics ranged from community education surrounding endometrial care to outdated practices used by some healthcare providers. Dr. Gogoi agreed with the second roundtable guest that these conversations must happen to ensure patients are heard by their health care providers and receive the care they deserve.
