Portions of Three Downtown Streets to Close July 7

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced three street closures occurring from 7 a.m. to noon, Sunday, July 7 for the Lincoln Mile running event.

The closures are as follows:

• 12th Street from "Q" to "R" streets
• "R" Street from 12th Street to 16th streets
• "Q" Street from 12th to 13th streets

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities appreciates the public's patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
