USELESS: DCCC Calls Out the Least Productive Congress in Nearly a Century in New Digital Campaign

"People are sick and tired of a feckless and useless Republican Party that never does a damn thing." - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

Today, the DCCC is launching a new national digital campaign, "USELESS, " to emphasize to voters the historic levels of dysfunction, chaos, and extremism that will be the legacy of the Republican-led 118th Congress.

Under House Republicans, the 118th Congress has been historically unproductive, rated the most unproductive Congress in nearly a century after completely abandoning any efforts to deliver for working families. Case in point: the Republican-led House has passed 170 fewer bills than when Democrats had the majority. The failures of this Republican majority have led many to wonder what accomplishments they will campaign on (answer: none) and how voters would describe their time in the majority. The answer:

The "USELESS" campaign targets vulnerable House Republicans with a microsite that will serve as a central hub for information about this majority's failures, and include dozens of digital assets for campaigns and partners to use in the final weeks of the race.

The microsite draws a sharp contrast between the uselessness of the Republican majority and Democrats' historic accomplishments when they held the majority. While Republicans wasted time fighting amongst themselves, threatening shutdowns, and pushing an extreme, unpopular Project 2025 agenda, Democrats invested in infrastructure, expanded veterans benefits, lowered prescription drug costs, and created manufacturing jobs.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
"House Republicans have wasted their majority with chaos and dysfunction, and the public is tired of it. In a word, they're useless.
