Valles Caldera Fire Management Plan Environmental Assessment Public Comment Period Now Open

Jemez Springs, NM - The National Park Service (NPS) prepared a fire management plan for Valles Caldera National Preserve and is seeking public input on the plan's environmental assessment from October 1 through November 3.

The environmental assessment is available for review and comment on the National Park Service's Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/VALLFMPEA2024. To aid in understanding the assessment, there are companion documents and a link to an interactive StoryMap on the PEPC site.
