IPA CIS Flag Unfurled on Peak of Kilimanjaro

Adviser to the Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitry Serov raised the IPA CIS flag over the highest mountain in Africa.

In order to develop a common tourist space of the Commonwealth countries, the IPA CIS carries out systematic work to provide a legal framework for the economic integration of the CIS countries.

The Assembly pays great attention to the study of mountains, in particular to the development of mountain tourism and ski holidays. In 2023, a number of events of the Travel Hub "Commonwealth" project were held on the margins of the International Forum "Sustainable Development of Mountain Territories". Its participants discussed new scenarios for the development and support of tourism in mountain regions of the CIS and proposed new legislative initiatives in this area.
