Health Department Updates Due to Power Outages

Due to power outages across the county, the health department would like to relay the following information to the public:

• The Vital Records Office, located in the Peter Chalk Pavilion, is closed today and cannot process birth or death records.
• The Environmental Health Staff, located in the Peter Chalk Pavilion, has been relocated for today. Please call 607-737-2028. If you have water samples or other samples, please bring them to the Health Department offices in the Gridley Building.
• Other questions can be directed to 607-737-2028.
• The Health Department wants to remind everyone to drink plenty of water and stay cool during today's predicted high temperatures.
