On June 6, 2024, State Police arrested Alex Gonzalez, 40, of Gloversville, NY, on a warrant for Grand Larceny in the third degree.

On August 1, 2024, Percy Allen, 48, of Gloversville, NY, was also arrested on a warrant for Grand Larceny in the third degree.

On May 13, 2024, at about 4:06 p.m., Troopers received a complaint that a vehicle and attached trailer had been stolen from a business in Johnstown, NY. The investigation determined that Gonzalez and Percy reportedly stole the pickup truck and attached trailer the previous afternoon. The trailer was located and recovered in the area of Turkey Farm Road in Mayfield, NY, on May 15, 2024.

On May 20, 2024, the Hudson Falls Police Department stopped the stolen pickup, which was being driven by Allen, and took him into custody for possessing the stolen vehicle.

On June 6, 2024, Gonzalez was produced from the Fulton County Correctional Facility, where he was being held on an unrelated matter. He was transported to SP Mayfield for processing and returned to the facility to await arraignment.

On August 1, 2024, Allen was produced from the Washington County Correctional Facility, where he was still being held due to the May 20th arrest, and transported to SP Mayfield for processing. Allen was then arraigned at the Johnstown Town Court where he plead guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to 179 days in jail. Allen was then brought to the Fulton County Correctional Facility where he will serve out his sentence.
