Permit work requires lane closures on Heart of America River Bridge, Nov. 4-7

JACKSON AND CLAY COUNTIES- Permit work requires lane closures on the northbound and southbound right lanes of travel on Missouri Route 9 (Heart of America River Bridge) for routine streetlight maintenance from E. 3rd Street in Kansas City, Jackson County to E. 10th Avenue in North Kansas City, Clay County starting on Monday, Nov. 4 until Thursday, Nov. 7 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This is not a complete closure, but motorist should expect delays. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
