Coming soon: A new AVMA Career Center experience

AVMA's career center experience is evolving! This job board has a long and trusted history of meeting the recruitment and career needs of veterinary professionals and the wider industry of animal health. As our profession continues to evolve, it is important that our services also evolve to support the profession's changing career needs.

In late 2024, the AVMA will transition the job board to improve the Career Center in a variety of ways:

• Modernize the employer, job seeker, and partner experience.
• Create opportunities to offer unique services.
• Provide an advanced level of support.
• Strengthen the Career Center name within the veterinary community.

What job seekers should know

The AVMA Career Center is even easier to use for job seekers-and it's still free to search and apply to jobs on the profession's largest job board. Here's what you can look forward to on the new Career Center:

• The upgraded job search page allows you to apply advanced search filters including location, radius, specialty, company name, and more without ever having to leave the search results.
• Make informed decisions with location data for each job opportunity, such as cost-of-living index, safety, utilities, transportation and more-all within the job search page.
• Enroll to receive alerts when jobs become available that match your personal profile, skills, interests, and preferred locations.
• Receive the latest jobs delivered straight to your inbox twice a month with the new and exclusive Job Flash™ email.
• Access new and exclusive career resources, including webinars, articles, job searching tips, and other tools.

What employers should know

Posting with the Career Center is still a cost-effective way to find top talent. There are a variety of inclusive packages customized to help you reach the candidates you need, and AVMA members will still enjoy discounted pricing for job listings.
