Roadway Reconstruction Ahead

The City of Baytown is committed to improving our road infrastructure. Beginning Tuesday, September 3, Walker, McPhail, Cline, Anderson, and Singleton Streets will be reconstructed for improved accessibility. This road work will be carried out in two phases:

Phase 1: Includes Walker Road from Bob Smith to McPhail and stopping at Anderson Street. Cline Street will also be reconstructed from Anderson to Walker. Phase 1 is expected to be carried out from Tuesday, September 3, to Friday, October 11.

Phase 2: Includes Cline Street from Anderson to Singleton, Singleton Street from Cline to Massey Tompkins, and Anderson Street from Cline to McPhail. McPhail Street from Anderson to Singleton will also be reconstructed. Phase 2 is expected to begin on Monday, October 14. Weather permitting, the entire project is expected to be complete by Friday, November 8.

Lane closures will be in place throughout the project, but residents will have access to their homes. For more information on this and other projects, visit Baytown.org/1202.
