Deputy Chief Perry graduates from Policing Leadership Academy

Please join our agency in congratulating Deputy Chief Scott Perry for graduating from the Policing Leadership Academy.
The class is an intensive leadership management education program at the University of Chicago Crime Lab that aims to prevent violent crime, support officers, reduce gun violence, and improve the effectiveness and fairness of policing.
The PLA is the only police management leadership program in the country specifically designed to increase safety in America's most violent neighborhoods.
Deputy Chief Perry and 35 other police leaders from across the country completed a rigorous five-month program rooted in data-driven management, violence reduction, and building community trust.
We are excited to see the ideas that Deputy Chief Perry learned will be implemented in our community. Great job sir!
