EVENT: The University of Michigan School of Public Health will host Ashish Jha, dean of Brown University School of Public Health and former White House COVID-19 response coordinator, for "Disrupting Infectious Diseases: Fighting for Our Future."
Jha and other public health experts and community collaborators will discuss the latest in infectious disease research, innovative interventions and responsive policymaking. The event is the latest in the academic speaker series, The Exchange: Critical Conversations with Michigan Public Health.
The half-day event is free, offered in-person and virtually, and will feature a panel of policy, community organizing and implementation experts moderated by Emily Martin, professor of epidemiology at U-M's School of Public Health.

In-person attendees can attend a self-paced poster session to learn more about innovative research and projects at the School of Public Health. Strolling lunch will be served.
PLACE: Rogel Ballroom in the Michigan Union, 530 South State St., Ann Arbor. The event will also be livestreamed.
