Luján Statement Commemorating Veterans Day

Santa Fe, N.M. - U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) issued the following statement to commemorate Veterans Day:

"On Veterans Day, our nation takes the time to recognize and thank the brave men and women who have served our nation and sacrificed for our freedom. Today, I am grateful to join our nation to thank our veterans in New Mexico and across the country and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

"Our brave service members have stood on the frontlines to protect our freedom and our democracy. It is our obligation to make sure veterans and their families have the support they deserve. That's why I will continue to fight for our veterans in New Mexico and across the country to ensure they have the care and resources they need when they return home."
