Bobcat Flag Football Team Competing Now in National Championship

The Georgia College & State University co-rec flag football team, "The Future Parents," plays in the NIRSA Co-Rec National Championship today at 8:30 a.m. Bobcat fans can catch the livestream at https://www.youtube.com/@nirsachampionshipseries8029.
The "Future Parents" advanced to the championship game with a shutout victory in the semifinals last night over the University of Maryland 20-0. The semifinal appearance came after GCSU co-rec went a perfect 2-0 in pool play.
The Defending National Champion men's team "Future Daddy's" lost a heartbreaker last night, falling 21-20 in overtime to UNC Charlotte in the quarterfinals. The GCSU men's team also went undefeated in pool play at 2-0 to earn a bye.
