Residents Invited to Learn About the Impact and Availability of CDBG and HOME Grants

GREELEY, Colo. - The City of Greeley is holding two public engagement meetings to discuss the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) initiatives. The meetings will be on Monday, July 8, at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue, in Greeley from 10-11 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. The same information will be presented at both meetings, so residents only need to attend one.

The two sessions will give residents, community organizations, and others a chance to learn about the CDBG and HOME programs. These programs, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), are designed to address critical community development needs, improve housing conditions, and support our community's low- and moderate-income households.

Key Topics to be Covered

  • Overview of the CDBG and HOME programs and their goals.
  • Current and proposed projects funded by CDBG and HOME.
  • How these programs benefit low- and moderate-income residents.
  • Opportunities for public input and feedback on future funding priorities.
  • How to apply for funding and participate in program activities.

For those who cannot attend in person, a virtual option is available.
