Mayor LaFrance invited to take part in Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative Mayors Class of 2025

Anchorage, AK－Mayor LaFrance has been invited to take part in Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative Mayors Class of 2025. 39 mayors have been selected from the U.S. and around the world to participate. The selective year-long program is an opportunity for mayors to learn from other leaders and enhance local capabilities around collaboration, community engagement, problem solving, and innovation.

"If we want to see different outcomes when it comes to our big challenges, we need to be open to different ideas and approaches to get there." said Mayor LaFrance. "I'm grateful for this opportunity to represent Anchorage, learn from others, and enhance our local government's ability to tackle big problems."

The in-person kickoff of the program takes place in New York the week of July 15. The mayor will attend Tuesday's Assembly meeting telephonically.
