HURRICANE BERYL HITS CARIBBEAN ISLANDS
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Malaysia in Havana, Cuba is closely monitoring the movement of Hurricane Beryl. The current Category-4 hurricane, which is hitting the Caribbean Islands, is expected to make landfall in Jamaica on Wednesday, 3 July 2024.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Havana is also maintaining regular communication with Malaysians in Jamaica and other nearby countries, including the Cayman Islands, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Turks & Caicos Island.
Malaysians in Jamaica and other affected countries are urged to stay vigilant and follow the latest updates and guidance provided by the local authorities. Malaysians requiring consular assistance can contact the Embassy via the details below:
