Scituate Barracks

At 2:36 PM, Troopers arrested Sergio Sanchez, age 47, of 221 Amherst Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 12:30 AM, Troopers arrested Erick Sajche Meza, age 32, of 3 Baxter Lane, Smithfield, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Sexual Assault (Second Degree) out of the Warren Police Department. The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Warren Police Department.
