Macy’s Names Jason Holzman as Senior Vice President, Creative and Production

Marketing Role Marks a New Creative Chapter at Macy's

NEW YORK, NY - September 10, 2024 - Macy's today announced that Jason Holzman is named Senior Vice President of Creative and Production. Holzman will oversee the Creative (Design & Copy), Photo Studio and Marketing Operations teams. Designed to drive new, effective, breakthrough campaigns and ensure more integrated ways of storytelling across all channels, this role will advance how Macy's engages with customers and the public. Holzman will report to Sharon Otterman, Chief Marketing Officer.

"Jason brings a wealth of creative experience from consumer advertising, as well as the media and entertainment industries, and has a proven track record of innovative storytelling. Macy's has a rich history of celebrating moments big and small, and we've added a strong storyteller to continue to tell our story. Holzman was most recently at NBCUniversal, where he held the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Creative for Peacock. He also led teams at NBCU responsible for the creative marketing of linear networks including USA and SYFY, as well as UCP, one of the company's content production studios. Holzman has also served as an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where he taught advertising.

Prior to his nearly seventeen-year tenure at NBCUniversal, Holzman served as creative director at Euro RSCG. He also held creative roles at BBDO and Ammirati & Puris, and recently co-authored a graphic novel to be published by Humanoids, the multi-national publishing house.
