The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for New York's Fourth Congressional District, "Granddaughter," highlighting how Anthony D'Esposito has repeatedly voted to restrict access to abortion - threatening to take away Nassau County young women's rights that were previously protected for their mothers and grandmothers.
On the campaign trail in 2022, D'Esposito confirmed he supported a national abortion ban. In Congress, D'Esposito has followed through by voting for multiple anti-abortion bills. Now, he's running for re-election on a party platform that would ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest - even in New York.
The ad - the first to run in New York's Fourth Congressional District from the DCCC IE - is airing in the New York City media market beginning today and is part of the committee's previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
