Closures on State Routes 99, 132, And Interstate 5
Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 99
Overnight, full closure of the offramps from northbound SR-99 at Mitchell Road and Tuolumne Boulevard for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 15 through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
Overnight, one-way traffic control on Keyes Road, K Street, and Woodland Avenue over-crossings and alternating lane closures on H Street, I Street, and Beckwith Avenue under-crossings for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 15 through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
State Route 132
One-way traffic control between River Road and the Old Fisherman's Club for grinding and paving work beginning Monday, September 16 through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:45 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Overnight, one-way traffic control at the Tuolumne River west of La Grange for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 15 through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Overnight, one-way traffic control between La Grange Dam Road and Quartz Ledge Creek Bridge for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 15 through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
The signalized intersections at Western Avenue and F Street/Hickman Road in Waterford will be flashing red for utility work beginning Sunday, September 15, through Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Note: Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2024.
Interstate 5
Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 15, through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work. Note:This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
