VINCI Airports appoints Chivoine Rem CEO of Belgrade Airport

• Chivoine Rem to take over CEO position at Belgrade Airport
• François Berisot appointed CEO of Budapest Airport

VINCI Airports announced today that it has appointed Chivoine Rem as the new Chief Executive Officer of Belgrade Airport who will formally take over this role in the following weeks. François Berisot, the current CEO, is named Chief Executive Officer of Budapest Airport.

On this occasion, Chivoine Rem stated: ''I am thrilled to be joining Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in continuing major successful transformation. The focus remains on its further positioning as a benchmark in the region for growth, efficiency, customer care and the environment. I'm looking forward to meeting the teams and all the stakeholders involved in the airport" .

Graduating as an engineer from L'École Polytechnique of Paris, Chivoine Rem is a highly qualified professional with international experience in both public and private sectors, most recently as CEO of Rennes and Dinard Airports in France, both part of VINCI Airports network. After joining the company in 2019, he was project manager in charge of international projects for VINCI Highways, and then became CEO of Toulon-Hyères Airport in southern France. Before that, he held several positions in the French Government, as Head of State debt market operations and investor relations at the French Treasury, as Portfolio manager at the French Government Shareholding Agency and as Financial attaché at the French Embassy in Washington D.C.

Under Chivoine Rem leadership, Belgrade Airport will continue next phases of its expansion and modernization project with an aim of reaching 15 million passengers at the end of concession period, affirming its position as a hub in South East Europe.
