BPD in the Community: Red Cross 9/11 Blood Drive 2024

BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox was pleased to stop by the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance Blood Drive at Fenway Park again this year. The Commissioner observed several moments of silence marking the tragic events of 23 years ago today with the staff, volunteers and donors who came out to this important event in support of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross and Boston Red Sox have partnered on the event for many years and it brings in about 250 donors. It is a great way to honor this painful day in our nation's history by doing a great service for others in need of blood #neverforget
