The Sponsored Programs Office congratulates the following on successfully secured grants:
Kimberly Duncan, Child and Family Network, Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development, received notification of a $42,000 award from the Community Foundation of North Louisiana entitled, "Ready Start Network for Bossier Parish Local Match for Tuition." Nancy Alexander, Paula Youngblood and Camille Holman are collaborators.
Dr. Shane Rasmussen, Louisiana Folklife Center, College of Arts and Sciences, received notification of a $4,800 award from the Jazz and Heritage Foundation entitled, "The 45th Annual Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival."
Kimberly Duncan, Child and Family Network, Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development, received notification of a $305,192 award from the Louisiana Department of Education entitled, "Birth to Three Second Quarter." Nancy P. Alexander, Paula Youngblood and Camille English are collaborators.
Julie Longlois, Electronic Learning and Global Engagement/ Carl D. Perkins Program, Academic Affairs, received notification of a $4,173.39 award from the Louisiana Community and Technical College System entitled, "Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) - Postsecondary Basic Carryover Grant." Stephanie Henson is a collaborator.
Current Activities
Dr. Adonay Sissay, Louisiana Scholars College, College of Arts and Sciences, submitted a proposal to the Louisiana Board of Regents Research Competitiveness Subprogram entitled, "Propagator Mixed with Machine Learning for the Time-Dependent Kohn-Shan Equations."
Trinity Sanders, Office of Service Learning, Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development, submitted a proposal to Keep Louisiana Beautiful entitled, "Keep Louisiana Beautiful 2024-2025 Trash Receptacle Grant." Steve Gruesbeck, Jason Parks, andBryn Dill are collaborators.
Dr. Charles King, Department of Psychology and Addiction Studies, Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development, submitted a proposal to the University of Texas at Austin entitled, "SSW ATTC Grant."
