State Police arrest Troy woman for Grand Larceny

Press Release

On October 23, 2024, State Police of Brunswick arrested Kimberly A. Neumann, 53, of Troy, NY, for Grand Larceny in the second degree and Scheme to Defraud in the first degree.

On September 20, 2024, at about 10:55 a.m., Troopers received a complaint from a Troy business reporting that a past employee misused a corporate credit card. The investigation determined that Neumann worked for the company and allegedly used the company's corporate credit card to make purchases unrelated to the business's needs from the summer of 2023 until the summer of 2024 without permission or authorization. These purchases were reportedly for Neumann's personal gain and resulted in the company losing more than $50,000.

Neumann was arrested and processed at SP Brunswick. She was then arraigned at Troy City Court and released under the supervision of the Rensselaer County Probation Department.
