Public can report blocked crossings; CSX temporarily closing railroad crossings for repairs

There are three intersections that appear to be affected the most:

• South Church St. and Middle Tennessee Blvd.
• NW Broad St. and Florence Rd.
• West Main St. and Overall St.

You can call the CSX Public Safety Coordination Center if there are CSX issues at (800)-232-0144. You can also report blocked crossings to the TDOT Office of Rail Safety and Inspection at 1-800-465-9239 or 1-800-555-5555. The information is collected by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to track locations and impacts of blocked crossings at https://www.fra.dot.gov/blockedcrossings/
