FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. - Whether you're stocking up on seasonal favorites or exploring new treats, the commissary sales flyer for Oct. 7-20 has the special promotions and savings you need to celebrate the best of autumn.

Stateside stores are offering USDA Choice round beef cubed steak family packs on sale for $4.55 per pound, and pork bone-in loin center cut roasts at $2.37 per pound. With Halloween and Thanksgiving right around the corner, pumpkins are on sale for $6.99 each (select stores selling them at 39 cents per pound), perfect for decorations or baking. Commissary patrons can also find Gala apples on sale for $1.39 per pound Also available at $1.39 per pound is butternut squash, good for roasting, pureed into soups, mashed, or used in casseroles. Sale items are available while supplies last. Selection and pricing may vary by store.

For patrons looking for a fast ready-to-eat meal, the Defense Commissary Agency is introducing Freedom's Choice "Chef-Inspired" meals ready in 5 minutes or less, now available at 2 for $10. Look for the signature sticker in the fridge or freezer section at your local commissary. A selection of 10 meals is currently available in stateside stores, (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

Your holiday feast just got a whole lot cheaper. Dive into our turkey sale and enjoy premium turkeys (Shady Brook, Honeysuckle, and Jennie-O) for just 69 cents per pound. Act quickly - these incredible prices are available while supplies last, and selections may vary by location.

Your commissary also makes shopping easy with the Commissary CLICK2GO mobile app. Customers can access the online payment/curbside pickup service, digital coupons, sales flyers, dietitian-approved recipes and more. The mobile app is free for download through the Google Play and iOS app stores.

We celebrate our patrons every day with the Your Everyday Savings (YES!) program. YES! offers extra savings and value on products customers need and buy most. Look for the orange YES! label on store shelves - even on milk and eggs.

The Commissary "Thinking Outside the Box" (TOTB) featured recipe is Pumpkin Pie Smoothie. TOTB recipes are dietitian-approved, quick and economical solutions for home-cooked meals. Customers will find additional savings on the items listed in these recipes.

More savings opportunities are available through the Pathway to Savings - "Instant Savings, Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Free" deals and Commissary Rewards Card digital coupons. Customers can save over $45 through these deals. Many more digital coupons are available at https://commissaries.com/digital-coupons. Pathway to Savings "BOGO Free" is not available at overseas stores; however, overseas customers can still enjoy instant savings by visiting their stores for specific selections and pricing.

Other savings opportunities include:

  • Columbus Day Soda Sale. Oct. 10-24, Coke and Pepsi products in 6-pack, 16.9-ounce bottles are on sale for two for $8. This offer is valid in the continental U.S. In Hawaii and Alaska, all brands are two for $10. Sale items are available while supplies last. Selection and pricing may vary by store.
  • Commissary Store Brands. DeCA's private label inventory of Commissary Store Brands provides patrons with even further savings. Save big with an assortment of items spanning the entire store, including Freedom's Choice food, HomeBase non-food, TopCare health and beauty, Full Circle Market natural and organic food, Wide Awake ready-to-drink coffee products, Crav'n Flavor frozen appetizers and snacks, Tippy Toes baby products, Flock's Finest wild bird food and Pure Harmony pet food.
  • Dietitian-Approved Fueling Stations. The commissaries' grab-n-go Dietitian-Approved Fueling Stations are a great alternative to the drive-thru or a quick way to stock office and barracks fridges with ready to eat, on-the-go snacks and meals. These stations are full of dietitian-approved snacks and meals that are nutritious and high-performance foods, conveniently located near the registers in select stores.   • Del Monte Supports Leashes of Valor. Through Oct.15, every Del Monte purchase at the commissary helps support wounded and disabled veterans to receive a service dog. Leashes of Valor provides highly trained service dogs at no cost to wounded and disabled post-9/11 veterans.   • Honoring Veterans. From Oct. 21 to Dec. 1, customers can enter for a chance to win one of five $100 commissary gift cards. A charitable donation of $2,500 will be made to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization established to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities that they have worked so hard to protect.
