EXTENDED Route 2018 Kirby Garards Fort Road Slide Repair in Greene County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that the closure of Route 2018 (Kirby Garards Fort Road) between Rocky Ridge Road and Route 2011 (Garards Fort Road) in Whiteley Township, Greene County, has been extended through late September.

Crews from Plum Contracting are repairing a slide - a $1.88M infrastructure improvement investment. All work depends on weather and operations.

A 20-mile posted detour is in place using:

  • Route 2018 (Kirby Garards Fort Road)
  • Interstate 79
  • Route 21 (Roy E. Furman Highway)
  • Route 2026 (Rolling Meadows Road)
  • Route 2011 (Fordyce Road, Garards Fort Road)
