Argentina firmly condemns and regrets the air attacks by the Russian armed forces in the city of Poltava

The Argentine Republic firmly condemns and regrets the air attacks by the Russian armed forces in the city of Poltava, which left 51 people dead and more than 270 injured so far.

Likewise, it reiterates its urgent call on the Russian Federation to immediately cease the use of force and stop military operations in Ukraine, condemning the invasion of its territory, while highlighting the obligation to respect international humanitarian law.

We express the solidarity of our country and the support for international efforts aimed at restoring peace in Ukraine, with respect for its territorial integrity.
